Job Description

Overview Bob Howard Honda is seeking a customer-focused Parts Counter Retail Sales Associate to join our Parts Department. This role is responsible for assisting retail and service customers with automotive parts purchases, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting dealership operations. Candidates with dealership parts experience and familiarity with
CDK/EPICOR
(or similar dealership management systems) are strongly preferred. Responsibilities Assist retail customers and service technicians in identifying and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. Process parts sales, special orders, returns, and exchanges accurately. Utilize electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems to research and locate parts. Maintain inventory organization, stocking, and merchandising standards. Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Work collaboratively with the service department to ensure timely parts fulfillment. Promote and upsell OEM Honda parts, accessories, and related products. Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory movements. Follow all dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards. Qualifications Two or more year's related experience in an automotive parts department preferred. Previous automotive parts counter, retail sales, or dealership experience preferred. Experience with CDK, Epicor, or other dealership management systems preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components. Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
