Job Description
Overview UE Manufacturing is Now Hiring a Parts Distributor located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127. This position is responsible for ensuring proper pulling of parts for unplanned events to keep production moving and the distribution of all parts to the appropriate Planning personnel or units currently in progress on the shop floor. Responsibilities This position will be held responsible for ensuring that all the parts that are being requested by planning are pulled and taken to the requesting person or to the unit on the floor, and they are being charged out to the jobs in Oracle. Will ensure that all parts distributed to subassembly or units are signed for by a Planning or Lead man. May be involved/ assist the receiving and shipping associates in verifying and accepting parts. Assist Receiving Lead in the organization of parts as the shipments arrive from outside vendors. Direct and lead forklift drivers for the distribution of parts. Will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor on any parts issues that occur. This may be parts that cannot be charged out to jobs- due to not being on the jobs, etc. Will ensure that the correct serial numbers on all engine, transmission and pump assemblies are issued out to the correct unit/ job. Will initiate and follow through with the Requisition forms. Will communicate any issues with inventory, including discrepancies, to the Warehouse Supervisor and Buyers, if need be. Will work closely with the Receiving and Warehouse team to ensure that all expedited parts are taken to the manager of subassemblies and, or to the units on the floor. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in warehouse and inventory operations is preferred. Knowledge of basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures is preferred.
