Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Parts Clerk is to receive direction from Maintenance Supervisors, while partnering with mechanics to insure adequate/accurate parts inventory. Purchase supplies at a low cost/best value, for Dorada Foods. Utilize the "auto re-order" feature of 7I, review "auto re-order" report on a daily basis and generate purchase orders for required purchases. Setup all first time purchased parts on 7I. This will include giving each part a number, location, vendor, description, minimum/maximum/re-order point & quantity. Maintain necessary files for purchases, MSDS, mold plates, service contracts, waste oil, RFA'S, and parts sent out for repairs and warranties. Issue parts to mechanics, initiate work orders and ensure that all items are accounted for. Receive, label and stock supplies on a daily basis, incoming supplies will be delivered to upstairs parts room. Complete travel paths with mechanics and Maintenance Supervisors to review their needs and the Department's needs. Communicate inventory status and requirements with Maintenance Supervisors on a daily basis. Perform weekly inventory spot checks to ensure that all inventoried items are accounted for. Coordinate quarterly and annual inventory counts. Maintain, clean and organize parts storage areas. Generate and distribute all predictive & preventative maintenance work orders. Provide purchasing reports to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as stated above.
