PARTS SPECIALIST
Reports to the Parts Manager and/or Assistant Parts Manager The Parts Specialist's role is comprised of 3 main functions: Enhancing Our Team , Serving Our Customer and Achieving Financial Goals Results . Each of these roles require different skills and time spent in each area but are equally important parts of being on the Bortnick Team. Enhancing Our Team Keeps Parts area clean, organized and safe. Provides feedback on best practices and offers ideas for improvement. Respectfully works together with all departments to maintain and grow the Parts, Sales and Service Departments. Stocks inventory and checks it into the DIS system, as requested by Parts Manager. Openly communicates recommendations regarding inventory count, levels, and adjustments. Performs related or other tasks as assigned. Serving Our Customer Properly identifies needed items. Recommends additional related parts or accessories. Locates and obtains in-stock merchandise and sources out-of-stock or hard-to-find inventory. Delivers product on time and as promised. Achieving Financial Goals Properly invoices merchandise. Applies best practices to properly receive inventory in the system before stocking or distributing merchandise. Records and/or communicates necessary information in inventory control system. Follows Vendor's Core, warranty and defect procedures. Maintains shelf stock by returning all unsold merchandise to stock. Meets or exceeds performance goals as defined by the Parts Manager.
