Parts Counter Professional Are you a car enthusiast with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being hands-on with automotive parts? If so, we want you to join our team as a Parts Counter Professional at our independently owned NAPA Auto Parts store in Milford, PA!
Responsibilities :
As a Parts Counter Professional, you'll be at the heart of our customer interactions, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Answering phones and providing friendly assistance to customers.
- Greeting customers with a smile and helping them find the right auto parts.
- Placing and filling orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Performing detailed, repetitive tasks daily with precision.
- Completing assigned tasks independently, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Maintaining a safe, positive, and harassment-free work environment.
- Exemplifying excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
- Willingly taking on additional duties as assigned by management.
- Assisting with deliveries when need.
Qualifications :
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills for transaction processing.
- A desire to be cross-trained in all areas of the operation.
- Flexibility for duty and position reassignments as needed by management.
- Must have a valid driver license
Physical Requirements :
We believe in working hard but having fun doing it. Physical requirements for the position include:- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 75 lbs (hey, those parts can be heavy!).
- Standing, walking, reaching, bending, and climbing stairs to stock and pull parts for the entire shift.
- Handling repetitive tasks with precision while maintaining a positive attitude.
