  • Full-time The Abeloff GMC Kia team is looking for a candidate with a strong desire to learn and grow within our parts and service team.
The Automotive Parts Counter Associate is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in finding the appropriate parts for each vehicle. They work with customers and technicians to find accessories and order parts for repairs and upgrades to vehicles. Compensation will depend on experience. Benefits Paid Vacation Generous 401k Company Match Paid Training Employee Discounts Growth Opportunities Health, Life, and Dental Insurance Duties of the position include: Check-in parts and properly inventory and store them Distribute parts to service technicians Serve as backup to stocking clerk as necessary Oversee the parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock Complete special order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer Communicate with customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to industry Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience with auto parts sales preferred People-focused and with great customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Professional appearance and strong work ethic Proficiency with computer skills is preferred Valid and current driver's license with the ability to maintain a good driving record Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
