Job Description
Tasca Kia is seeking a hardworking and self-motivated Parts Counterperson to be the face-to-face representative of the Parts Department with both the service department and retail parts customers. What will you do? The Parts Counterperson is responsible for parts check-in and maintaining the parts inventory by performing bin checks. This person will accurately source and quote parts into the electronic multi-point inspection program. This individual will also be held accountable for reading and determining which parts should be quoted if the repair is under factory warranty and has a special part number necessary from Kia. The ideal candidate will consistently pre-pick parts and keep the parts department neat and orderly. The Parts Counterperson will proactively communicate the status of the orders with all affected service technicians and advisors. What skills do you bring to the role? The successful candidate is organized and has a strong attention to detail. This candidate has ample computer skills, and has a working knowledge of an automotive parts catalog. The Parts Counterperson will have a demonstrated knowledge of automotive parts. The successful candidate will exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude. Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history.
