• Parts Clerk.
• The Parts Clerk is responsible for the receipt, verification, labeling, storage, documentation and security of all parts and supplies in the parts room. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Vacation:

minimum of two (2) weeks + Sick days: 5 days +

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Receives and stocks parts.

+ Conducts price and quality survey. + Provides counter service. + Cleans and organizes shelves, bins, racks, etc. and maintains a clean and orderly parts room. + Enters necessary data into computer program and ensures accuracy and reliability of the data. + Maintains files and other related records. Provides reports as necessary. + Orders special parts for repair orders, following order to maintain proper inventory levels. + Operates parts recordkeeping system per location needs. + Other duties as required.

• Qualifications:

• + High school diploma or equivalent + 3-5 years of parts or vehicle maintenance experience preferred. + Strong data entry skills. + Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office. + Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Physical Requirements:

• + The essential functions of this position require the ability to: + Work inside and outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions, 50% of the time will be working alone.

+ Sit for extended periods of time processing data/parts on a computer, frequently walk on the shop floor, possibly on slippery or uneven surfaces. + Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level + Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
