About the
Role:
The Wholesale Collision Mechanical Parts Sales position is a critical role focused on driving sales and expanding market presence within the collision repair industry across the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with collision repair shops, distributors, and other key stakeholders to promote and sell mechanical parts. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive collision parts, market trends, and customer needs to effectively match products with client requirements. The position demands strategic sales planning, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage a sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Ultimately, the role aims to increase wholesale sales volume, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company s collision parts division.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in wholesale sales, preferably within the automotive or collision parts industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical parts used in collision repair and the automotive aftermarket. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an automotive dealership, especially with wholesale customers. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and industry regulations. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a wholesale environment. Technical certifications related to automotive parts or collision repair.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Provide expert product knowledge and technical support to customers to assist in their purchasing decisions. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning. Collaborate with internal teams such as inventory management, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely order fulfillment. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and product improvements. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to inform management decisions.
Skills:
In this role, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust and rapport with customers and internal teams. Sales and negotiation skills are applied daily to close deals and secure favorable terms that benefit both the company and clients. Product knowledge and technical expertise enable the candidate to provide accurate information and tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Organizational and time management skills are critical for managing multiple accounts, tracking sales activities, and meeting deadlines. Additionally, proficiency with CRM software and data analysis tools supports effective pipeline management and strategic decision-making.
