If you have a love for aviation, a kind heart, and a strong sense of loyalty, you may be just the right fit for our Van Bortel Aircraft family. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Parts Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them locate aircraft parts, obtain pricing quotes, and place orders via our inbound call queue and email.
Key Responsibilities Inbound Customer Support:
Answer inbound phone calls and respond to emails from pilots, mechanics, and aircraft owners with a friendly, professional attitude.
Order Processing:
Look up parts using our digital catalog, check inventory availability, process payments, and accurately enter orders into our system.
Sourcing & Quotes:
Provide price quotes and estimated delivery times to customers. Assist in tracking shipments and processing returns (RMAs).
Continuous Learning:
Actively participate in paid training sessions to build a strong foundation of aircraft part knowledge and company standards. Qualifications & Skills Aviation Experience (Required): Prior exposure to or training in the aviation industry is required (e.g., pilot's license/student pilot, ground school completion, aviation maintenance exposure, or extensive technical knowledge of aircraft components). Strong basic computer skills (ability to type quickly, navigate database software, and look up items online). Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a heavy focus on active listening. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to detail. A positive, coachable attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for the aviation industry.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
