Primary Responsibilities:
Track parts inventory, purchasing, and part breakdowns, coordinating with the service department on part delivery schedules.
Sales:
Processing transactions for parts and accessories, taking phone orders, and providing price quotes. Inventory management, receiving new merchandise, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory levels Coordinating parts inventory from manufacturers and communicating with vendors for company and customer owned equipment. Greeting customers, helping them identify the correct parts, and answering questions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of auto parts and how they work is crucial. Attention to detail, Accuracy is critical when identifying parts, placing orders. The ability to manage multiple tasks, such as sales, inventory, and special orders, is important. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact with customers and colleagues.
