Job Description
PARTS and
SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR USM
ReRents (Cleburne, TX) USM ReRents is the leading aerial lift equipment re-rental company in the US, renting large booms, spider-lifts, and heavy-capacity telehandlers to equipment rental yards/companies across North America (who, in turn, rent these booms and lifts to the end-user- most often a construction contractor).
Core Responsibilities:
Parts Procurement- Source and order OEM and aftermarket parts for major aerial brands like JLG, Genie, Skyjack, and Snorkel. Create purchase orders. Parts Receiving
- Accurately receive parts and verify pricing. Code & process related invoices. Ensure all parts get added to work orders. Inventory Control
- Organize stock, and track high-turnover items like hydraulic hoses, joystick controllers, batteries, and safety decals to maintain optimal stock levels. Perform bin counts. Work Order Management
- Open, track, and close out repair orders, ensuring technician labor hours and parts used are accurately billed. Warranty Processing
- Submit and track warranty claims through manufacturer portals for component failures and factory recalls. Safety Compliance Tracking
- Maintain inspection records & documentation for required Annual Machine Inspections. Data Entry & Admin
- Create and update part numbers and pricing in our systems. Open/update work orders with sourced parts and logistic information
- verify labor items & parts have been correctly applied.
Basic Expectations:
The Parts & Service Administrator will build professional relationships with co-workers and with supply/parts vendors. We expect you to support a respectful workplace with your words & actions towards co-workers, vendors, and managers. You will help us establish a well-running, professional repair operation. You will maintain regular communication with service department peers in Cleburne and in the home office in Chicago. Little-to-no evening nor weekend work hours will be required. Hours areM-F, 8-5
(or thereabouts). Wage range is $21.75- $27.
Work Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts per week (Monday to Friday). $150 annual work boot allowance. Key Qualifications (Job Requirements) :- 1-3 years of experience in parts or service coordination, specifically dealing with heavy equipment, material handling, or aerial lifts.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems common in heavy equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Windows, Excel & Outlook, and in accurate data entry to company systems.
- You must be capable of maintaining professional updates/conversations with vendors & customers & coworkers.
Physical Requirements:
The job incumbent is required to walk, talk, and hear. The employee will stand, sit, kneel, bend, & twist. He/she will use hands to finger, handle & feel parts (large & small), and to operate a keyboard. He/she must safely use box cutters to open/unbox packages. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds alone, and perform "team lifts" (or employ mechanical assistance) with heavier items. Visual abilities required include close-up, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:
