Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their parts and service needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and your knowledge of heavy duty products will be key in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding heavy duty truck parts, transmissions, differentials, fan clutches, PTOs and pumps, as well as other products and services we offer. Utilize retail math skills to accurately process transactions and manage cash register operations. Negotiate pricing with customers to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome. Maintain organized inventory by restocking shelves and managing order fulfillment processes. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales area to enhance the customer experience. Experience Previous experience in a heavy duty retail, sales, or repair environment is preferred, but at minimum automotive retail required Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with a diverse customer base. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing inventory and ensuring efficient operations. A background in automotive or heavy duty service or diagnostics is a plus, enabling you to provide informed recommendations to customers.
