This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing the complete parts ordering process, including parts identification, procurement, inventory support, customer invoicing, and order fulfillment. The Parts Specialist will collaborate with customers, technicians, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and efficient parts operations. Positions are available at our Fort Worth branch. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate parts quotes for technicians and customers. Respond promptly to customer and technician inquiries through: Email Phone Text messages Tinnacity Process vendor documentation through Softbase Doc Center and TrinDocs. Place stock orders and emergency/breakdown orders with manufacturers and suppliers. Track orders from placement through delivery.
Manage inventory by:
Maintaining accurate bin locations Processing returns Monitoring and adjusting Min/Max inventory levels Assisting with inventory accuracy and cycle counts Research parts using electronic catalogs and manufacturer resources. Work closely with the service department to ensure technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records within the company business system.
Qualifications Required:
Previous experience working in a forklift material handling equipment parts department. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn multiple software systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-focused attitude with a sense of urgency. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Forklift parts department Inventory management Manufacturer parts lookup systems Tinnacity Softbase Doc Center / TrinDocs Inventory management software Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off Employee Ownership Program (ESOP) Life insurance
Pay:
