Job Description

Purpose Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting in of shipments and placing parts orders in the proper inventory locations. Assisting in cycle counts and following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues to the Parts Manager. Responsibilities Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (i.e. Customer & Stock Orders, Machine Down & Surplus Returns) Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfers Perform cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory; report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly Process the inbound and outbound transfers by shipping and receiving parts Making certain that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised. Contact customers for parts pick-up, and place in designated location Assists Supervisor with merchandising displays by re-stocking showroom inventory Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop an advanced knowledge base and skill set Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service Safely operate a forklift and other related equipment as needed Routinely lifts items weighing up to 75 lbs. Requirements Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge High School diploma or equivalent experience Experience connecting with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling processes Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence. Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications Valid Drivers License required
