Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the Spare Parts Coordinator will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of all activity related to inventory control for parts and materials required for daily operations and capital projects at our automated intralogistics facility. This individual will be responsible for our spare parts assets and related items.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Approach all tasks and assignments with a "Safety First" philosophy Oversee all inventory management aspects including planning, requisition (internal supply chain and external vendors), receiving/packing/shipping, cataloging/labeling, inspecting, storing, distributing, and auditing Use internal systems (SAP and WiTool) to accurately forecast materiel needs, process parts orders, record inventory, and track anomalies Practice accurate tracking and control protocols to ensure critical parts availability, eliminate losses & discrepancies, and ensure accurate billing to customer Generate and analyze various reports to track parts usage, departmental spending, and loss/bleed Serve as technical resource for parts identification, usage, handling, ordering, and management
Required Skills and Abilities:
Comfortable working in a team environment Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple tasks under time pressure Excellent organizational and communication skills (including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding spoken English) as need to work with colleagues, customers, and vendors and to draft routine reports, presentations, and correspondence Working knowledge of commercial shipping vendors including UPS and FedEx; familiarity with international shipping requirements Highly comfortable working with computing technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP, web browsers, etc.) Ability to complete assorted forms and checklists accurately and legibly Dependability, punctuality, and integrity on a daily basis
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year college degree or trade school certification preferred Minimum 2-3 years related experience in full life cycle inventory management Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, technology, warehouse, or supply chain fields a plus
Physical Requirements:
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Continuous walking, climbing and standing Lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds Ability to work at heights of 80-100 feet Enough physical strength and agility to pack, unpack, and lift cartons (parts, equipment, or material) weighing 50 pounds or greater Ability to adapt to temperature changes in a warehouse environment Be exposed to extreme noise levels, temperatures, and humidity This role may require occasional domestic travel in order to attend training/meetings and/or support other WITRON facilities as needed.
