The Parts and Service Specialist role will be responsible for supporting the service technician in the field.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the sourcing, quoting, and ordering parts necessary for the customer in support of the service technician field calls. If necessary, create part numbers for new parts in the ERP system. Review all part numbers created by the branches to reduce duplicate parts numbers. . Notify service techs when parts arrive, ship them to assigned locations. Schedule service technician's customer visits to maximize number of visits per pay. This includes scheduled PM's, installations, and ad hoc customer requested repairs. Maintain service calendar, customer machine schematics, and run service reports in coordination with the Service Manager. Enter service reports and invoice customers for parts purchased and service performed. Handle parts returns, vendor RMAs, and warranty claims on parts and machines. Monitor and process parts invoices as needed. Provide back up support to the branch managers for PO approval process in their absence. Other tasks as assigned Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field desired. Five years of related experience preferred. Knowledge of machine parts and machine repair services. Experienced in Lean Six Sigma.
