Parts Specialist City of Midland, TX - 2.2 Midland, TX Job Details Full-time $35,650 a year 10 hours ago Qualifications Parts administration within automotive industry Parts administration within retail industry High school diploma or GED Driver's License 10 key typing Full Job Description Scope of Work The employee deals with and maintains the inventory and purchasing of tools, supplies and equipment for the operations of the garage. Essential Job Duties Helps count and keep inventory of mechanical and vehicle parts. Maintains and assures the proper maintenance of parts. Performs computer work, such as purchase orders and parts request. Puts up stock and does light filing in an office setting. Drives vehicle to various locations to pick up parts. Provides custodial services to the department. Performs related duties as required. Physical and Environmental Conditions Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and other employees in work group. Required Qualifications Must be knowledgeable in reading and understanding parts manuals. Must be able to use computer, ten key adding machine, and answer telephones. Must have at least two years experience in working parts counter. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record.
