Job Description:
Omega Auto Brokers is a fast-paced independent dealership seeking a highly organized and driven Reconditioning & Inventory Operations Manager to work directly alongside ownership. This is a hands-on operational role responsible for managing vehicle reconditioning, shop workflow, inventory tracking, parts management, and vendor coordination from acquisition to frontline-ready. This position requires someone who can stay on top of multiple moving pieces at all times and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and manage all vehicles through the reconditioning process Coordinate daily workflow between mechanics, helpers, and lot staff Order, track, and return parts while controlling costs Negotiate pricing with vendors and service providers Manage outside repairs (dealerships, specialty shops, etc.) Maintain real-time inventory tracking (location, status, next steps) Perform final quality control checks before vehicles go frontline List vehicles accurately with proper descriptions and pricing Monitor market activity and adjust pricing to move inventory Communicate with buyers and manage the sale process Identify and sell usable parts online (eBay, Marketplace, etc.) to generate additional revenue Keep shop operations organized and efficient Work directly with ownership to ensure daily operations stay aligned
Requirements:
Fluent in English & Spanish (required - must communicate daily with technicians) Experience in automotive service, parts, or dealership operations Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to manage multiple vehicles and priorities simultaneously Basic mechanical understanding (you don't need to be a technician, but must understand repairs) Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency Must have working knowledge of automotive mechanical systems and common repairs Able to understand repair estimates, diagnose basic issues, and communicate effectively with technicians Able to distinguish between necessary vs excessive repairs
Compensation:
Base Salary:
$40,000 - $50,000 per year Additional income through: Bonuses based on operational performance Commissions from wholesale internet vehicle sales Commissions from online parts sales (eBay, Marketplace, etc.)
