In this role, you will participate in inventory management, assist customers, and ensure smooth daily operations. Your leadership will help drive sales, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain efficient store processes. Duties Works with parts manager to develop and follow an annual parts department budget to provide realistic, attainable and measurable parts sales and profit goals compatible with overall dealership financial and operational objectives. Monitors parts sales on a monthly basis to ensure achievement of budgeted sales and profit goals Maintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures Assist with counter sales to support customer needs Maintains all departmental tools, equipment , and vehicles in good working order Will submit warranty claims and return claims within the required time frame to received maximum credits allowed Will perform recruiting, staffing and employee development activities Requirements 2+ years in Parts Department operations Proven experience in dealership or automotive parts sales with a strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and stock levels effectively. Experience in sales management, negotiation, and customer service within an automotive or retail environment Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, and dealership operations Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm while maintaining high standards of service quality Ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
