This role is vital in ensuring efficient inventory management, excellent customer service, and smooth daily operations within the parts department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of automotive parts and services. Bilingual skills and dealership experience are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are essential for success. Duties Assist customers with parts inquiries, providing knowledgeable support on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair needs Manage inventory control using CMMS systems and POS software to track stock levels, order fulfillment, and stock replenishment Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records Support sales management efforts through negotiation and upselling of parts and accessories Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of parts for quick retrieval Maintain cleanliness and organization within the parts department to promote safety and operational efficiency Collaborate with the service department to facilitate seamless order fulfillment and vehicle maintenance support Utilize Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, reporting, and data analysis Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist in marketing efforts by promoting available parts and services to customers Experience Previous dealership experience or retail sales background preferred Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and automotive service is advantageous Familiarity with inventory management systems such as CMMS or POS platforms is desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order fulfillment Bilingual abilities (e.g., English/Spanish) are a plus for serving a diverse clientele Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service proficiency Experience with retail math, marketing strategies, and sales management will be beneficial Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting purposes This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the automotive industry while providing exceptional service to our customers.
