Harnish Auto Family is looking for a dependable, experienced Parts Back Counterperson who knows how to keep a service department running efficiently, support technicians with urgency and accuracy, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced dealership environment. If you're organized, detail-oriented, thrive under pressure, and understand the importance of speed, accuracy, and teamwork in automotive fixed operations, we want to talk. What You'll Do Assist retail and wholesale customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts Fulfill parts requests for service technicians quickly and accurately Process parts orders, invoices, and transactions Maintain accurate inventory levels, including stocking and organizing parts Order out-of-stock or special-order parts and communicate status updates Provide pricing, availability, and product information in person and over the phone Track and manage special orders, returns, and warranties Maintain clean, organized front and back counter areas Participate in training and stay current on new products and updates Support inventory control processes and lost sales tracking Collaborate with Parts Manager and team to meet department goals What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Automotive parts knowledge preferred (dealership experience a plus) Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to lift and move parts as needed What We Offer Competitive compensation with performance-driven bonuses Opportunity to lead within a family-owned, growth-focused organization Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Career advancement opportunities across a 5-store dealer group Ongoing leadership development and training
