In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities across our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and compliance by managing maintenance schedules, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your mechanical knowledge and supply chain management skills will make a tangible impact. Duties Coordinate scheduled maintenance for machinery, HVAC systems, automotive repair equipment, and warehouse facilities to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met. Manage procurement processes for parts, supplies, and equipment sourcing by collaborating with suppliers and negotiating favorable pricing. Oversee parts administration and inventory control using inventory management systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to track stock levels and order parts efficiently. Facilitate logistics, shipping & receiving, and warehouse management activities to streamline parts movement and maintain accurate records of all transactions. Support demand planning and pricing strategies by analyzing usage data and coordinating with procurement teams to optimize inventory levels. Maintain internal communication channels to ensure all departments are informed about maintenance schedules, parts availability, and equipment status. Conduct data entry for maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems like AS400 or similar platforms. Assist in sourcing automotive parts and accessories, leveraging automotive diagnostics knowledge to identify suitable components for repairs or upgrades. Support automotive service operations by coordinating parts availability for dealership repairs or auto body work while ensuring compliance with OEM standards. Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all maintenance activities, including equipment repair and HVAC servicing. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management, or parts administration within manufacturing or automotive environments. Hands-on automotive diagnostics skills combined with automotive parts management experience. Strong warehouse management background with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes and inventory control systems. Experience working with CMMS software, ERP systems such as AS400, or other inventory management platforms. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, vehicle systems, auto body repair processes, and OEM standards is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in negotiation with suppliers to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, HVAC systems, or automotive service is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and parts sourcing documentation. Effective internal communication skills to coordinate across departments seamlessly.
