Sells parts to customers at the counter, over the telephone, or through the repair shops.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists customers in determining and selecting appropriate parts. Provides price quotes and other parts information. Informs customers of specials and companion part requirements, ensuring that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Assists technicians with the parts requisition process, ensuring that the Parts department receives a completed copy of the parts request or repair order. Ensures that all internal parts requests are billed on repair order. Represents Quality Truck Care Center in a professional manner, remaining friendly and courteous in all customer and coworker interactions. Pulls and fills parts orders from stock. Prepares orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up. Inspects cores received from customers. Tags for return to vendor. Issues customer credit upon receipt of credit from vendor.Required Qualifications:
Six to twelve months parts experience or training, heavy duty truck experience preferred Effective oral and written communication skills. High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Wisconsin Drivers License / insurableSimilar jobs in Fond du Lac, WI
