  • Parts & Service Department Reports to:
Vice President Roles & Responsibilities:
Customer Service
  • Manages customer service, communicates customer job assignments with management
  • Provides customers quotations within established limits and regulates work quality
  • Develops and maintains effective Parts Department processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains effective communication and working relationships within customers and management
  • Fulfills demands as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction Expense Control
  • Submits parts warranty and return claims within the required limits.
  • Maximizes use of all order discount programs
  • Check, inspect and authorize all necessary orders, packing slips, requisitions and purchase orders
  • Develop and maintain efficient billing, costing and discount procedures
  • Follow up on all returns and credit requests
  • Control purchase and ordering procedures to maintain department profitability Inventory Control
  • Establish and maintain balanced inventory that ensures customer needs are met
  • Ensure all incoming Parts/Orders are checked for quantity, price, & distributed to Accounts Payable
  • Maintain shipping and receiving paperwork
  • Conducts an annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories
  • Maintains all department tools and equipment Safety
  • Demonstrates the proper use of PPE
  • Following company policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Following applicable state and federal regulations/standards to prevent incidental casualties
  • Establishes an organized, proactive, and safety consciences work environment
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years experience
  • Competent and experienced in the following: ○ Sales & Bidding Processes ○ Fulfilling Customer requisition, questions, and concerns ○ Providing Quotations to customers ○ Quality control and assurance ○ Equipment Repair and Replacement ○ Purchasing
  • Proficient in effectively investigating, analyzing, and problem solving
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in applicable regulatory agencies such as: ○
OSHA, MSHA, DOT, DEP
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
  • Experienced in Microsoft Outlook and other associated Microsoft programs
  • Ability to balance work loads and adapting to changing situations/environments
  • Demonstrates a sociable, customer-oriented, reliable, responsible, committed, and loyal position
  • Illustrates motivation, confidence, and willingness to make tough decisions successfully
