Pricing Specialist

Pricing Specialist A local company in Saraland, Alabama is looking for a Pricing Specialist to join their team. The Pricing Specialist plays a key role in maintaining accurate pricing within the system by collaborating with the Pricing Manager, internal departments, and sales representatives. This is a fast-paced position that requires a high level of data entry, professionalism, and adherence to established procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with multiple departments to obtain appropriate approvals for pricing updates. Ensure all customer pricing is accurately maintained in the AS400 system. Perform accurate data entry for customer, product, and buying group maintenance in AS400. Assist the Pricing Manager with departmental audit requirements. Communicate effectively with Salesforce and managers regarding pricing updates. Serve as the single point of contact for all pricing-related inquiries . Implement price changes as needed to maintain category pricing strategies. Review financial information while maintaining confidentiality. Meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Required experience with data entry. Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Proficient with PCs and spreadsheet preparation. Previous experience with Microsoft Office. Good judgment, professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. Experience with AS400 is encouraged but not required. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to prioritize tasks and remain detail-oriented throughout processes .

Compensation and Benefits:
