Job Description

Pricing Coordinator Responsible for review, setup, and modification of timekeeper rates, client and matter level pricing, and alternative fee arrangement (AFAs) in the firm's billing system. Work closely with Client Value team members and administrative departments such as Finance, Accounting, Billing, Marketing and Business Development, New Business Intake, the General Counsel's Office, IT and others. Essential Functions Responsible for the maintenance of timekeeper and client pricing in the Firm's financial system, including timekeeper, client, and matter level rates as well as AFAs. Ensuring rates conform with billing guidelines and engagement letters, verifying pricing Requests and required approvals, and communicating changes to billing coordinators and others. Support the Client Value team with various custom rate analyses needed for responses to proposals and pitches. Reviews newly created clients and matters for consistency and communicates necessary rate and ebilling input to the billing team. Supports the annual timekeeper rate setting process, including implementing rate changes. Participates in the annual client rate review process, including communicating with Client Value team members and attorneys to identify clients and matters that require notice for rate increases and working closely with billing team to ensure all are updated without delays. Maintains foreign currency setup for timekeepers. Develops and documents rates-related processes. Prepares information for surveys such as the annual PricewaterhouseCoopers' billing rate survey and Peer Monitor, and provides analysis of information as requested. Non-Essential Functions Perform other tasks and project, as assigned Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree required. One to two years of experience preferably in a law firm or professional services organization. Success Factors Outstanding client service skills and responsiveness Excellent written and oral communication skills High level of proficiency in financial modeling and sophisticated skills in manipulating large sets of data Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize multiple pieces of information clearly and concisely Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to ensure accuracy of system data Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, employing a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and professionalism Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Ability to prioritize, juggle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment Must exhibit a high sense of urgency Must be team-oriented Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work nights and weekends as necessary Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Experience with database tools and financial reporting tools a plus Experience working in a Law Firm a plus Experience working with Elite 3E or Elite Enterprise a plus Work Environment Professional services environment Non-smoking environment Must be available to work beyond regular days and hours Must be able to work under tight deadlines & stressful situations Must be able to be in office two to three days a week The anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
