Job Description:

Allstates WorldCargo is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pricing Assistant to provide customer service to our import and export customers. This full-time position plays an important role in helping our customers receive accurate, timely pricing and exceptional service throughout the shipment process. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent verbal and computer skills. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in building a long-term career in the international logistics and freight forwarding industry. Key Responsibilities Obtain and negotiate rates from airlines, ocean carriers, trucking companies, and other transportation providers Prepare and provide pricing quotations to customers and overseas agents Follow up on pending quotes and customer inquiries in a timely manner Maintain communication with carriers, agents, and internal departments regarding rates and service availability Assist with customer service support related to import and export shipments Enter and maintain accurate shipment and pricing information within company systems Support sales and operations teams with pricing requests and account management Monitor market conditions and carrier updates to ensure competitive and accurate pricing Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as needed Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and customer service mindset Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Minimum Requirements Associate degree or currently enrolled student (or minimum 3 years of industry experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with Magaya software is a plus Allstates WorldCargo is an equal opportunity employer.
