How you create impact The Sea Logistics Pricing Specialist partners closely with the Sales Team, Account Owners, Business Operations, and Sea Freight Trade Managers to drive growth and profitability for the Eastern U.S. Territory by developing competitive pricing for TPEB import opportunities. The role is responsible for formulating and managing responses to mid‑size regional bids (RFQs) and spot‑rate quotation requests. Additionally, this position oversees the booking authorization process, ensuring alignment with origin offices and adherence to the established pricing and carrier strategy for the Eastern U.S. Territory. Work within the Eastern Pricing Team to formulate responses to local/regional RFQs and local spot pricing requests. Manage pricing updates for existing customers (rates extension and/or revision, monthly market GRI's (General Rates Increases), and quarterly bunker updates, etc. Work closely with Trade Managers to monitor trends and carrier performance on their respective trade lane and product. Work closely with Pricing Manager and Supervisor to support and implement pricing strategies for new/existing customers. Work with internal systems to produce formal quotations, monitor rates databases & understand service-related topics from the carriers. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. What we would like you to bring 3+ years relevant experience in freight forwarding/supply chain/logistics industry. Excellent customer service and clerical skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A team player who can work effectively with all levels of an organization. Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office suite including Excel. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Initiative to meet deadlines and work independently.
