Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Project Quotations team at Reflex occupy an essential role in driving sales and servicing customer needs. Quotes people are responsible for generating proposals, developing pricing strategies with the sales team, and negotiating pricing with factories and customers. This is a position that requires both a high attention to detail and a willingness to take calculated risk to secure opportunities. The optimal quotes person at Reflex is curious about our products, highly capable at problem solving, and urgent about satisfying customer needs. A person in this position must understand that the job is never done and that there is always more that can be done to improve our proposals, communication, and most importantly, profitability.

Essential Functions:

Send commercial project quotations on day of bid Enter complete bill of material with required factory quotes Identify lighting controls opportunities and coordinate with Applications Engineering Team to compile controls bill of material and pricing Be prepared to discuss bids for all meetings Interact daily with customer base to form and build client relationships. Coordinate pricing strategy on all opportunities with appropriate sales team member(s) Coordinate daily with Senior Team member(s) and

Project Management Submittals:

o Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) o Request submittals and re-submittals o Notify the customer of lead time on submittal requests o Communicate with PM if an expedited lead time is needed. o Review returned submittal comments

Breakouts:

o Request, update and negotiate factory pricing o Analyze pricing to maximize profit and review with Senior Team member o Review final BOM for fixture and pricing accuracy - validate in Oasis o Review Sales Account and Specifiers for accuracy Obtain and communicate construction schedules Assist PM Team in resolving project issues related to product, pricing, or shipping

Competency:

Knowledge of commercial lighting industry, lighting products, and lighting controls Familiarity with Reflex Lighting's line card Customer service-oriented communication with distributors & electrical contractors Ability to consistently meet deadlines while having the discipline to manage follow-up responsibilities and move projects forward without external pressure A strong sense of urgency and desire to satisfy customer needs as they define them. Ability to negotiate pricing with manufacturers
