Estimating and Pricing Specialist -
Labor Team Lead Company:
The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Estimating and Pricing Specialist - Labor Team Lead in Saint Charles, MO. Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Saint Charles has a broad portfolio of programs and customers, both domestic and international. As a member of the Weapons Estimating team the successful candidate may have the opportunity to support all Direct Attack programs gaining broader experience and visibility.Position Responsibilities:
Lead development of complex labor estimates with complex technical requirements through the design Build and support all stages of the program Lead development and application of pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques Lead business proposals, evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal and substantiates estimates and pricing Develop complex pricing models Lead and performs complex analysis and provide recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.) Lead the development/application/maintenance of unique and non-unique rates and factors for estimating Lead compliance activities, policy and procedure development, deployment of new systems/tools, training development/delivery and internal audits Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher degree 5+ years of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing function Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets Experience working on government proposals, to include Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliant proposals Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with and knowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Experiencing performing risk analysisConflict of Interest:
