Pricing and Demand Specialist Location:
Nashua, NH Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking a Pricing and Demand Specialist to join our High Speed Backplane team located in Nashua, NH. The Pricing and Demand Specialist reports to the Product Management team and is responsible for managing RFQ and pricing activities, building and maintaining a pricing database, analyzing pricing trends, and identifying effective pricing strategies to drive growth across the HSBP portfolio. In addition, this role owns the demand management function, including demand forecasting, backlog analysis, and alignment of customer demand signals with internal supply capabilities. The specialist works to improve forecast accuracy, identify demand trends, and support capacity and inventory planning. This role collaborates closely with Product Line Managers, Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure competitive pricing strategies while balancing demand, supply, and business objectives to maximize revenue and operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage pricing database, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems Support pricing decisions by analyzing cost structures, market inputs, and demand trends Track and report cost changes, price erosion, and pricing performance, and demand trends Own demand management activities, including demand forecasting, backlog analysis, and order trend monitoring Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing historical data, customer inputs Align demand forecasts with supply capabilities, supporting inventory planning and capacity decisions Identify risks and opportunities related to demand fluctuations
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 3-5 years of experience in pricing, product management, demand planning, or financial analysis (experience in connectors, electronics, or manufacturing preferred) Proficiency in Excel; experience with data analysis and modeling preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work with engineering, operations, sales, and finance teams
