Our Uncle Giuseppes Marketplace located in Greenvale is on the lookout for an energetic and detail-driven part-time Scanning Clerk to join our amazing team! Scanning Clerks are responsible for performing aisle scanning audits to ensure accuracy of pricing file, greeting all customers and providing them with prompt, courteous service and assistance. Individuals will ensure effective, timely communications with all departments. Responsibilities Accurately complete all weekly price changes transmitted to the store file from Uncle Giuseppes to include both checking for and correcting any discrepanciesMaintain the accuracy of the pricing file to match weekly sales, circulars and/or newspaper adsMaintain UPC program by separating, sorting, and properly placing UPC tagsMaintain pricing integrity on the sales floor by ensuring that all items are properly signed, tagged, and scanned correctlyCheck prices and be knowledgeable about location of items in the storePerform weekly aisle Scanning audits to ensure accuracy of pricing fileMaintains adequate and appropriate department records at all times. Updates pricing log changes weekly.

Other duties and functions as assigned Requirements Must be 18 years or olderHS Diploma or equivalentMust be very detail oriented with the ability to recognize numbers that might not be in sequence or may be out of orderMust be able to speak, read and understand the English languageMust have patience for detailed work
