Bid Specialist Location:

DFW ( resident apply only) Compensation & Schedule $20-$21.00 per hour Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM W-2 employment Start date: TBD Role Impact The Bid & Proposal Analyst drives revenue growth by identifying, developing, and submitting competitive bids and pricing proposals. This role ensures accurate product matching, cost analysis, and timely submission of documentation to secure new business opportunities. Success is defined by precision in pricing, responsiveness to clients, and the ability to uncover cost savings that strengthen competitive positioning. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new bid opportunities through customer usage analysis and market review Prepare, coordinate, and submit bids, quotes, proposals, and sales plans (including Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) analysis when applicable) Perform product matches based on customer usage reports and purchasing history Calculate, total, and validate pricing proposals to ensure accuracy and margin alignment Communicate with prospective clients to verify specifications, clarify purchase requests, and follow up on bid outcomes Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of related experience in bid coordination, pricing analysis, sales support, or proposal management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data analysis) and strong business math skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail Equipment & Work Environment Standard office environment Routine computer and phone use Travel less than 10% No special physical demands required Preferred Skills Experience conducting price comparison and cost-savings analysis using alternative products or contract pricing Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset Legal Notice By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
