Primarily weekends KB's Texas BBQ is seeking an energetic, dependable, and sales-driven Market Sales Ambassador to help grow sales and provide outstanding customer service. This is an active sales position. Market Sales Ambassadors do not simply wait for customers to come to the our shop. They walk assigned areas of the market, engage shoppers and vendors, promote KB's Texas BBQ, take orders using a mobile POS device, assist with order delivery, and help generate repeat business. Responsibilities Walk assigned market routes and actively approach potential customers. Introduce customers to KB's Texas BBQ and explain menu items, specials, and promotions. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a company-provided mobile POS device. Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly individual sales goals. Recommend combos, drinks, sides, add-ons, and other items to increase average ticket size. Build relationships with market vendors, regular customers, and new customers. Deliver completed orders to customers and vendors throughout the market when needed. Coordinate with kitchen staff to help ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly. Answer basic customer questions regarding menu items, pricing, ingredients, and promotions. Maintain strong knowledge of the menu and current specials. Assist customers with online, mobile, or in-person ordering when necessary. Handle company equipment responsibly, including tablets, mobile POS devices, payment equipment, and related supplies. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing KB's Texas BBQ. Help distribute promotional materials and inform customers about specials, upcoming events, or new menu items. Assist with community outreach, vendor relationships, special events, and promotional activities when assigned. Keep assigned sales materials and equipment organized. Communicate customer feedback, sales opportunities, and operational issues to management. Follow company policies regarding attendance, cash handling, food safety, customer service, and professional conduct. Assist the team with other reasonable duties as needed during business operations.
Compensation Market Sales Ambassadors earn:
$13.00 per hour Pooled tips Performance-based sales commission Commission is based on individual sales performance and is designed to reward ambassadors who consistently generate revenue for the business. Commission and incentive programs are subject to company policy and may be modified prospectively based on business needs. Previous sales, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
