Job Overview Do you enjoy antiques, collectibles, unique treasures, and discovering the story behind everyday items? Cedar Valley Property Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Auction Cataloger to help prepare items for our growing online auction business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, photography, research, and creating accurate online listings that help maximize auction success. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sort and organize auction inventory. Assign lot numbers and group items into logical auction lots. Photograph auction items using company standards to showcase products accurately. Write clear, accurate, and appealing item descriptions for online auction catalogs. Enter catalog information into the online auction software with attention to detail. Ensure all auction listings are complete, accurate, and published on schedule. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient cataloging workspace. Handle merchandise carefully to prevent damage during processing. Assist with auction preview days, and post-sale activities as needed. Travel to customer locations for on-site cataloging, photography, and auction preparation. Perform other duties as assigned to support the auction department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Basic technology skills with the ability to learn auction software and data entry systems. Ability to research products using online resources. Strong written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Interest or knowledge in antiques, artwork, collectibles, vintage items, and unique merchandise is highly preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly stand, bend, walk, and move throughout the workday. Ability to lift, carry, and move inventory weighing up to 50 pounds . Ability to safely handle a wide variety of merchandise. Ability to work both indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying conditions. Requirements Valid driver's license Willingness and ability to travel and work out of town when required. Reliable transportation to and from work. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Schedule Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00

From $14.00 per hour
