Non-Exempt Job Summary As a Brand Ambassador for 1911 and/or ayrloom, you will be responsible for representing the brands within an assigned region. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer engagement and will create memorable brand experiences, share the story of 1911 and ayrloom, and educate customers about our product. Brand Ambassadors will host brand activations and tastings at liquor stores, dispensaries, concerts, festivals, and any other location or event as assigned. This is a part-time job that typically offers 5-10 hours on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to Attending assigned scheduled brand activations and tastings on-time and well prepared. Set up and maintain visually appealing, on-brand samplings in alignment with monthly portfolio goals. and direct consumers towards our brands. Engaging and educate perspective customers with the brands. Educating customers and accounts on 1911 and ayrloom product lines, ingredients, formats, and effects. Encouraging customers to ask questions and learn about the benefits of our cannabis products. Reporting event recaps and photos to the supervisor after each shift. Maintaining knowledge of current alcohol and cannabis regulations regarding promotional activities and samplings. Attending team training sessions and identify visual merchandising and display updates needed in-store and communicate them to supervisors to ensure alignment with brand standards. Presenting the brands with a positive attitude & approach. Interacting with customers and accounts in a friendly and professional manner. Distributing products responsibly, verifying that all customers are 21+ before sampling. Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities 21+ years old Must have consumer product in-store beverage promotion experience Must be able to work evenings and weekends Reliable transportation required Must be organized, punctual, and responsive Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be comfortable engaging with a diverse consumer base Prior alcohol/beverage or cannabis experience preferred (retail, brand rep, sales, or field marketing) Strong oral communication skills to interact with customers and vendors in a professional and helpful manner in person. Ability to work independently and effectively.
Physical Exertion:
Moderate Work- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Work may include loading and unloading cases of product, setting up product displays, and lifting, lowering, and moving product.
Environmental Conditions:
The frequency and duration of indoor and outdoor work may vary based on position, location, and operational needs. Indoor Work- Indoor environments may include exposure to temperature variations, such as unheated or non-air-conditioned areas. Outdoor Work- Outdoor work may involve exposure to weather conditions and seasonal temperature changes.
Travel:
Occasional Travel- This position may require some travel to stores, accounts, or business locations based on operational needs.
