Full-time Convention Event Specialist:
The Convention Event Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional client experiences from the first inquiry through event completion across trade shows and corporate events. The role blends sales, customer service, logistics coordination, and on-site execution to ensure events are delivered accurately, efficiently, and professionally. Manage all Convention client relationships including proposals, meetings, venue relationships and onsite management of convention events Client correspondence from beginning phone call/email to event completion (including: onsite consults, showroom consults and day of install oversight). Composing client quotations and imparting guidelines and recommendations to client Event Design based on our experience(s) with venues/specific set ups Managing Exhibitor relations, including entering orders, tracking drayage and ensuring orders are fulfilled successfully Assisting with new design ideas, product procurement and implementation
Performing Site Inspections Production:
On site during production of convention and trade shows to manage implementation Review proposed jobs objectively and decide whether it is 1) feasible and 2) profitable as proposed. Responsible for maximizing our on-site relationship with key venues including communicating mutually beneficial delivery/breakdown, minimizing coordination issues. Review with crew client expectations and event specifications & requirements Work with warehouse staff to ensure client items are available and meet quality standards Identify and discuss with Director of Operations opportunities for improvement with crew and processes. Interface with venue contacts to determine new options that is suited to their clients and unique to their property. Organize and improve efficiencies throughout business operations.
