Appointment Length Regular Continuous/Until Further Notice Hiring Range $15.45 - $21.00 Hourly Priority Application Date While applications will be accepted until a successful candidate has been hired, interested parties are encouraged to submit their materials by to ensure full consideration. About this Position Assist in the development, service, and retention of the Wes Watkins Center Customer Base. Serve as an inbound customer request contact with a focus on selling and marketing the Wes Watkins Center space for customer meetings, conferences, banquets, receptions, weddings, dances, and other functions. Be a primary source of information for providing estimate menu costs, preparing event proposals; event planning, development, and execution as well as field general questions, concerns and/or ideas. Proactively look for ways to improve profitability while increasing product offerings and providing world-class customer service. Provide reliable, accurate, and improvement-oriented frontend and backend data on events. Check events for quality presentation, order accuracy, and professionalism. Demonstrate punctuality and dependability in work arrival and departure times. Effectively manage time in order to see effective follow-through on events and leaving time to generate new bookings. Administer to outside vendors the requirements and procedures for kitchen policy, off campus vendor, and food handling requirements. Other duties as assigned.
