Firearms Auction Phone Bidders - Intermittent Weekend SupportRock Island Auction Company (RIAC), the #1 firearms auction house in the world is searching for Phone Bidders to support our premier in-person auctions. In a new state-of-the-art facility, this on-demand position offers an exciting opportunity to support RIAC premier auctions in Bedford, Texas! Click here to check out RIAC's hiring video! Do you have experience and interest in antique or rare firearms/guns, bladed weaponry, or military and historic collectibles? Do you want a occasional weekend job with invigorating qualities in firearms culture? If so, this may be the job for you! RIAC holds premier auctions at least three (3) times each year; working as a phone bidder for our premier auctions requires availability from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday. What does a typical workday for premier auction look like? Phone Bidders can expect the following: Primary responsibility: Manage inbound phone bidding calls, placing bids on behalf of clients while delivering accurate product information and excellent service.
Remain attentive and engaged at assigned stations during the auction preview, interacting with clients and addressing their needs.
Assist with auction setup and teardown, including positioning equipment, display racks, and auction items with care.
Support general cleaning and maintenance to keep the auction area organized and presentable.
Help with kitchen and bar operations, including serving food and beverages as needed.
Handle auction items responsibly, ensuring proper positioning, storage, and display. Why work for RIAC? Climate-controlled facility!

Availability to work during auction weekends, including overtime as needed.
Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Customer service experience preferred.
