Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our growing law practice in Queen Creek, Arizona. Our firm focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and family law matters. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate when working with clients during important life transitions. The ideal candidate is professional yet personable, enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, communicates well with clients, and can effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Primary Responsibilities Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person in a professional and friendly manner Conduct client intake and maintain client files Draft, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence Assist with estate planning documents, probate filings, trust administration matters, and family law pleadings Prepare and organize documents for court filings and hearings Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, appointments, and court dates Coordinate document signing appointments and notarizations Maintain accurate electronic and physical client records Assist with billing, payment processing, and administrative office tasks Assist with preparing, editing, and organizing marketing materials, presentations, newsletters, and other client-facing content for publication or presentation File documents with courts and agencies as needed Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to ensure timely case progression Qualifications Prior experience in a law office preferred Experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, or family law is highly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment Professional demeanor and strong client service skills Self-motivated and dependable with a positive attitude Technology & Software Experience Experience with the following is preferred: Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Outlook Adobe Acrobat Legal practice management software LawPay Electronic filing systems and digital document management Work Environment Full-time position In-office role located in Queen Creek, Arizona Friendly, team-oriented office environment Opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients on meaningful legal matters How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your experience and interest in the position.
