  • 260,000 (depending on experience) + Origination commission and a non-equity partner track A well-established litigation boutique is looking to add an associate at the 3-5 year level to join its real estate litigation practice.
The firm handles a high volume of complex real estate and lending disputes, representing institutional and individual clients from case inception through resolution, including trial. This is a hands-on role with real courtroom responsibility from day one and trial experience is required. The firm has a strong reputation in its practice area and offers a collaborative environment where associates are expected to run their own files, not just support partners. This role will supervise entry level associates also. The ideal candidate is a confident, self-sufficient litigator who is ready to take on more responsibility and ownership of their caseload. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and isn't afraid of the courtroom. The Work Loan servicing disputes Wrongful foreclosure defense Refinancing and lending disputes Bankruptcy-related litigation Landlord/tenant disputes Unlawful detainer proceedings Pre-trial motion practice Trial from inception to verdict Experience 3-5 years of California litigation experience, ideally in real estate, lending, or related civil matters Comfortable running cases independently from filing through trial
  • not just supporting Confirmed trial experience, including first or second chair; ability to handle hearings, depositions, and mediations without supervision Working knowledge of loan servicing, foreclosure or landlord-tenant law is a strong plus Active California State Bar membership in good standing A steady career trajectory
