Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the efficient operation of the property. Duties
- Generate, Schedule, and Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed information on available units
- Process lease applications, conduct background checks, and prepare lease agreements
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and conduct property inspections as needed
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments, leases, and tenant interactions
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure properties are well-maintained and comply with regulations
- Utilize sales techniques to secure lease agreements and meet leasing targets
- Place ads, generate follow-up emails, calls and more to drive high occupancy rates Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, property management leasing, or real estate administration is preferred, leasing at apartment communities over 150 units is required
- Knowledge of property leasing processes, including Section 8 housing regulations
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes effectively
- Ability to manage property maintenance requests and coordinate repairs efficiently
