In this role, you'll be responsible for showcasing properties, assisting in lease renewals, and ensuring a smooth and positive leasing experience for all prospective and current residents. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values exceptional customer service, and is eager to contribute to maintaining high occupancy rates and excellent resident satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local laws, with a focus on Fair Housing regulations, to maintain ethical leasing practices. Greet all prospective tenants and current residents with enthusiasm, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Process rental applications and carefully verify all details and documents in accordance with company policies to ensure accuracy and compliance. Submit completed applications to the Property Manager for approval, promptly notify applicants of decisions, and maintain thorough documentation of all interactions. Assist with daily marketing activities, including posting engaging property listings on Craigslist, social media, and other platforms to attract qualified leads and maintain high occupancy rates. Maintain a closing ratio of at least 15% from initial contact to lease signing by effectively nurturing leads and addressing concerns. Address potential objections during property tours, offering solutions and valuable feedback to continuously improve the leasing process Assist in presenting lease renewal offers to current residents, ensuring that all processes comply with local laws and company policies. Assist in ensuring each move-in is handled professionally by inspecting apartments prior to move-in, using a checklist to ensure readiness.
Skills:
Demonstrate effective oral and written communication, ensuring clear and professional interactions with both prospective and current residents. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications or relevant coursework are a plus. Consistently deliver outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, ensuring a superior experience for all residents and prospects. Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking up/down stairs, kneeling, crouching, and using hands to reach or lift. The role also requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet daily and long-term goals. Strong time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment. Work schedule Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Why join us?
