The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This position requires strong sales skills, administrative capabilities, and a thorough understanding of property management practices. Responsibilities Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features. Assist in the preparation and execution of leasing contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations. Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants to secure agreements that align with company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities. Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track leads, follow up with prospects, and manage tenant communications. Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Manage administrative tasks related to leasing activities, including filing documents and maintaining accurate records in OneSite or similar property management software. Stay informed about local market trends and competitor offerings to effectively position properties for lease. Qualifications Previous experience in property leasing or real estate sales is preferred. Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties is a plus. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. Proficient in administrative tasks, including document management and record keeping. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential for compliance purposes. Experience using property management software such as OneSite is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for managing multiple leasing processes simultaneously.
