Full Job Description Overview:
We are hiring for an experienced tax credit Leasing Consultant or Assistant Property Manager to assist with the tax credit and compliance functions of a multifamily property, including mandatory tax credit functions such as completion of TICs, verifications of employment and rental history, requests for increases of housing authorities, recertifications, and preparing files. The ideal candidate will have a passion for property management, exceptional customer service skills, and a strong sales acumen.

Tax Credit Leasing Consultant/Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities:
Conduct property tours for potential tenants and highlight key features Assist in the leasing process from application to lease signing Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies Handle lease renewals and rental payments efficiently Responsible for compliance with all local, state, and federal agency regulations. Preparation of TIC during move-in and recertification as necessary. Scheduling and conducting recertifications with residents. Entering and updating information in computer system. Following up on work orders. Maintaining files. Assisting with rent collections. Navigating resident concerns and escalating to the appropriate on-site representative.
Skills/Experience:
Min six months' experience in LIHTC Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of property management software, such as Buildium or Bostonpost Ability to multi-task
