full-time Job Description Reid and Riege, P.C., a mid-sized law firm with offices in Hartford and New Haven, seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant for its New Haven office. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience in a law firm setting; a background in estate planning, estate settlement, and trust administration is a strong plus. This role calls for exceptional organizational skills and the ability to provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and clients. Primary Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including call screening, meeting coordination, light reception, and general office support.
- Handle confidential client information in a professional and trustworthy manner.
- Multi-task in an evolving environment with minimal supervision, remaining flexible and managing changing priorities as they arise. Qualifications
- Three or more years of administrative experience in a law firm setting.
- Outstanding proofreading and follow-up skills; a detail-oriented self-starter able to work independently, meet time-sensitive deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management and time-entry systems.
- A strong willingness to learn and the ability to interpret and follow instructions quickly and efficiently.
