Job Description
Local property management company is looking to hire a Leasing Agent to support the team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants
- Provide accurate information about the property, amenities, and lease terms
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks on applicants
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting unit inspections
- Maintain organized records of leasing activities and resident interactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Leasing Agent or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective residents
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and handle objections effectively
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to leasing and property management
- Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with facilities management principles is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and handle difficult situations professionally
