JOB OVERVIEW
Assists the Real Estate Directors and VP of Real Estate in planning and executing Regional Market Development Plans and strategies for a defined geography, across multiple brands. This position functions to procure real estate including site selection, determination of brand integrity, contract negotiation and financial return. The Real Estate Manager is responsible to maintain active communication with Development Team Leaders and Team members as well as outside developers, real estate brokers and community representatives.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages the administrative and research processes of real estate transactions and evaluations, e.g., site selection process, brand integrity and financial return.
  • Identifies and secures high-quality sites to meet growth and financial goals.
  • Leverages effective broker and developer network to identify premier sites early.
  • Coordinates and plans site visits with leadership
  • Negotiates purchase contracts and/or rental leases, in compliance with real estate law, for identified sites.
  • Prepares site approval materials in collaboration with various departments, e.g., investment analysis, market development, licensing, design and construction.
  • Maintains active communications with Development Team Leaders and employees for dissemination of information and project efficiency.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings and ensure alignment between Real Estate, Legal, Design, Construction, and Licensing teams
  • Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve issues affecting project schedules.
  • Assists with licensing and land use approvals.
  • Requires 40% to 60% travel
