Position:
Full-Time Escrow Closer Key Responsibilities:
Lead the real estate closing/escrow process, ensuring compliance with contracts, lender instructions, and title requirements. Mentor and supervise other escrow officers/closers and processors as needed. Facilitate residential and commercial closings with buyers, sellers, realtors, lenders, and attorneys. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to close transactions efficiently and accurately. Prepare closing documents, including the Closing Disclosure and ALTA or Master Settlement Statement. Resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, tax liens, and more. Secure necessary documents for successful settlements and title insurance issuance. Manage disbursement of funds and ensure all documents are accurate and properly executed. Verify legal documents for correct notary acknowledgements and lien information. Issue final title policies and applicable endorsements.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in title insurance, processing, and escrow closing. Notary Public License required. Title Agent license preferred but not required. Proven experience with residential and commercial closings. Strong computer skills; experience with SoftPro preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise fiduciary responsibility. Team-oriented with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under deadline pressure. High degree of integrity, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
